We recently celebrated the opening of a significant exhibition in Pietrasanta, Italy. 8 Miles of Painting at Flora Bigai Arte Contemporanea is a focused show that brings together eleven of Jim Dine’s most recents works. The opening reception was a great success with over 100 people in attendance. An exchange between the Italian historian Danilo Eccher was published in a catalog that can be acquired directly from the gallery at: info@florabigai.it.

The Elysian Fields

Earlier this summer, Jim was in Napoli, putting the finishing touches on the forthcoming exhibition, The Elysian Fields opening 9 October at the Maschio Angioino in Napoli. The exhibition showcases 29 sculptures made at the Kunstgiesserei St.Gallen Foundry in Switzerland these past three years.
Additionally, we’re excited to announce the debut of a 20 minute film that we made over the summer. In celebration of the exhibition, we will make it available for viewing on our website later this fall.

Jim is off to Madrid now, to begin a new print project with Dan Benveniste. Prints will be available this fall at Cristea Roberts Gallery in London. Stay tuned.
